The first MacKillop Saints Development Camp held on the 23rd and 24th of February, saw forty-five young athletes from MacKillop Catholic College attend a weekend camp, devoted to all aspects of Rugby League.
Managers and Coaches David Graham, Jasen Bryers, Darren Schmitt, Michael Graham, Matthew Sharp & John Chisholm guided our young men and women through a wide range of skill development, techniques, strength and conditioning exercises, positional play and much more.
The camp, designed to be much more than a lengthy training session included visits from special guests; former NRL West Tigers winger Taniela Tuiaki and long time 2 time Frank Johnson medalist, Darwin Brothers Captain, Leon Rotumah. Over the two days students also took part in a healthy eating seminar, as well as a team building seminar conducted by Mrs. Lauretta Graham. We'd like to thank all of our 2018 contributors, with special mention to Mrs. Michelle Mills for preparing and providing meals over the course of the development Camp. All of our athletes were well behaved and a credit to both their families and the College. MacKillop Saints are firmly committed to offering the best possible sporting experiences in the Northern Territory, and appreciate your confidence and support for our program.
